It's paper that has been recycled. Strathmore is the brand name. Besides my strong support for reycled material, I love to use this brand because it is extremely bright white, which, for me, works best when applying color. Unfortunately, I shoot my finished work outdooors and the camera sometimes won't capture the bright whiteness of the paper in the background. "Old Brown Shoe" shot well, I may need to re-shoot "Dream A Little Dream Of Me" over due to the strong show of browness in the background. It was a very overcast day when I shot it, Washington DC got tons of rainy wheather in the last week or so.
